Ground communication on the Republic of Belarus is sustained by an extensive network of motor roads.

 

Passenger transportation by buses is carried out by 5826 scheduled routes. Municipal scheduled bus network of the Republic numbers 1435 routes, suburban – 3467 routes, intercity – 843 routes and international – 81 routes.

 

The most updated motor road of Belarus is the road Brest-Minsk-Moscow. A network of public roads reaches 51,547 km (32,219 miles), the major part is hard-surface roads. 

 

Fee is levied for all transportation means arriving or passing through Belarus (except for non-transit vehicles). The cost fluctuates from 20 USD to 155 USD. Moreover, you will need to fill in a customs declaration providing the data on your transportation means and acquire car insurance (in addition to medical one). Not many foreign insurance companies are accredited in Belarus. Therefore, it is recommended to acquire insurance at Belarusian insurance companies operating at all border crossing point. The cost makes from 5 euros for 5 days to 53 euros for 1- year insurance.

-        arrangement of public catering at affiliates facilities;

-        ticket reservation;

-        visa support;

-        luggage room services;

-        rest rooms;

-        arrangement of arrival of buses which don’t belong to the transport system of the RB;

-        provision of areas for advertisement positioning and other fee-based services.
