Vitebsk State Technological University

Currently, the University is an educational, research and production complex, which includes 7 faculties, a sports complex, a canteen, student health resort, a library, Master’s studies, a postgraduate, doctoral studies, a regional testing center and other departments. The University is the founder of the Republican innovative unitary enterprise "Scientific and technological Park of Vitebsk state technological University" The University has 16 departments,12 of which are graduates. There are 3,924 full-time and part-time students. The scientific and pedagogical staff of the University consists of 195 teachers, including: 12 doctors of science, professors, 82 candidates of science, associate professors. Training of highly qualified personnel is carried out at postgraduate studies in 8 specialties (29 people are trained),1 person is trained in doctoral studies.Training of specialists is carried out in the magistracy in 9 specialties (52 people in full-time education,17 people in part – time). The University has the Council for the Defense of Candidate research works.Specialists with higher education are trained in 23 specialties of the first stage and 9 specialties of the second stage for enterprises of the light, textile industry, mechanical engineering and other branches of the national economy of the Republic of Belarus. To date, about 40,000 specialists with higher education have been trained.
