Republican Production-Trade Unitary Enterprise «Belarustorg» the Administrative Department of the President of the Republic of Belarus, branch «Telehany»

In November 2019, there was the launch of new plastic ski workshop for production of plastic cross-country skis for the recreational athletes and the beginners. In order to manufacture products with the quality and characteristics that are not inferior to the main global manufacturers, the enterprise’s specialists, together with the scientists from the Belarusian State Technological University and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus, developed and implemented the technology for the production of modern cross-country plastic skis with the optimal selection of equipment. The main technological equipment has the numerical program control, which makes it possible to manufacture products accurately and of high quality. The machinery equipment of the new ski production was completed together with WINTERSTEIGER (Austria), WEINIG (Germany), SCM (Italy), PADE (Italy), MIMAKI (Japan) and others. Pressing machines for ski production were made in the Republic of Belarus. To control the quality of the products, along with the production laboratory of the branch, a laboratory on the basis of the Belarusian State Technological University was created, where skis are tested for correspondence to all physical and mechanical parameters (ski weight, center of gravity position, ski length, bending deflection, stiffness index according to FA, residual length according to FA, breaking load, toe and heel stiffness, residual length and residual deflection, mid-section stiffness, fatigue under cyclic loading). Professional staff, strict quality control in all areas of production and decoration, high quality of purchased materials mainly of Austrian and Swiss production allows to produce the high-technology modern sports and the cross-country skis.
