Belarus extends export licences for unprocessed timber supplies to non-EEU states by another 6 months till Feb 28, 2019

MINSK - Belarus has extended for another 6 months export licences for unprocessed timber supplies (EEU FEACN Codes 4403 and 4404) to countries outside the Eurasian Economic Union starting Aug 1, 2018.

Subject to export licences is unprocessed timber (with or without bark), roughly rimmed or unrimmed.

Companies exporting timber materials will have to apply for single-use export licences or relevant clarifications to the Ministry for Antirust Control and Trade.

Export licences for unprocessed timber were first introduced on Feb 1, 2017 for a period till July 31, 2018. Since then the practice has been extended several times for 6-month periods.
