Belarus PM unveils desired price for Russian gas

MINSK – Minsk counts on purchasing Russian gas at the same price as Russia's Smolensk Oblast does plus transportation costs, Belarusian Prime Minster Sergei Rumas told reporters on 6 December, BelTA has learned.

Sergei Rumas laid out Belarus' stance on the price for Russian gas. “We would like to purchase Russian gas at the same price as is in effect for Smolensk Oblast, the Russian region that is closest to us, plus transportation costs,” the premier noted.
