Belarus’ Spartak confectionery announces tender to purchase 2,200 tonnes of cacao beans

MINSK – Belarus’ confectionery manufacturer COAO Spartak will hold an open tender to purchase 2,200 tonnes of cacao beans worth more than Br9.773 million ($5.242m).

The closing date for applications is June 21, 2017. The first shipment is due July 10, 2017, last shipment – Feb 28, 2018.

Established in 1924, Spartak was turned into a Belarus-US joint venture in 1998. Belarus’ authorities now hold a 65.45% stake in Spartak’s statutory capital.
