Granny’s Jar Dairy Group’s export proceeds up 38.5% in Jan-Sep 2017 to $160.7m

MINSK - Mogilev Dairy Holding Company Granny’s Jar (Babushkina Krynka) says its export proceeds grew 38.5% in Jan-Sep 2017 to $160.7 million, a company official told Prime-TASS.

In real terms, the company increased dairy exports by 33.9% to 67,160 tonnes (in whole milk terms) in Jan-Sep 2017, including 33% of milk powder, 26% of butter, 28% of cheeses, 10% of wholemilk products, 3% of whey.

Granny’s Jar (formerly known as Mogilev Dairy Factory) was founded in 1975.

The dairy group is capable of processing 2,750 tonnes of milk a day.

The dairy holding company incorporates 7 enterprises, including OAO Osipovichi Dairy Factory, OAO Babushkino Podvorie (Granny’s Farm), OAO Bykhovmoloko.

The company manufactures dried dairy products, cheese, casein.
