Inflation in Belarus at 9.97% in 2021

MINSK – In December 2021 the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 100.9% as against November 2021 and 109.97% as against December 2020, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.

In December the base index of consumer prices, which rules out changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors, totaled 100.6% as against November 2021 and 109.8% as against December 2020.

In December 2021 prices for foods went up by 1.3% from November 2021 and by 11.4% from December 2020.

In December prices for non-foods rose by 0.3% from November 2021 and 9.9% from December 2020.

In December prices for services went up by 0.9% from November 2021 and 7.6% from December 2020.
