National Centre for Marketing hosted online videoconferences with the participation of Belarusian Embassies in Qatar and Bulgaria
MINSK - On November 14, 2017 the online videoconferences in the "question-answer" format dedicated to the markets of Qatar and Bulgaria have been held in the National Centre for Marketing with broadcasting to the all branches of the Centre
The business event was attended by representatives of more than 15 Belarusian enterprises, including Gomselmash, Santa Bremor LLC, Confectionery factory "Vitba", Vitstroitechmash and Minsk Automobile Plant.
Mr. Vitaly Mirutko the Senior Councellor — Charge D'Affairs (political and economic issues) of the Republic of Belarus in the State of Qatar highly assessed the prospects for trade cooperation between the two countries. The fact is that in connection with the blockade of Qatar from other countries of the Persian Gulf the country is forced to look for new suppliers of food products. In addition in 2022 the country will host the World Cup in football and in this regard Qatar is ready to actively purchase construction products, decoration materials, and equipment.
The counselor of the Belarusian Embassy in the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Oleg Belov noted that the most active development of bilateral cooperation in agriculture. Promising goods for supply to Bulgaria are peat, wood products, food products. The diplomat stressed that it is important to have a local partner in Bulgaria, since importers in this country prefer companies from the EU.
Employees of the embassies called on Belarusian companies to participate actively in business forums, specialized exhibitions and business visits.
National Centre for Marketing together with the Embassies of the Republic of Belarus abroad conducts a series of online videoconferences in Minsk and regional centers in order to assist Belarusian exporters in the diversification of sales markets. Participation is free. The next videoconferences will be held on November 21 and will be devoted to cooperation with Austria and Israel.
