MINSK - Germany’s Polipol Produktions Verwaltungs GmbH (part of Polipol Holding GmbH) will launch soft furniture production in Oct 2018 at the premises of Belarus’ woodworking company Ivatsevichdrev (Brest Oblast).

Initially, Polipol will lease 11,000 square metres of production facilities from Ivatsevichdrev.

As previously reported, Polipol and Belarus’ state-owned timber and paper industries concern Bellesbumprom signed an investment agreement on July 30, 2018 to set up furniture production at Belarus’ woodworking company Ivatsevichdrev.

Initially, the furniture factory will operate on premises leased from Ivatsevichdrev, with €1.5 million to be invested.

The investor also plans to build a proprietary factory in Ivatsevichi, with €20 million to be invested in the project.

They plan to sell their products in the EU market.

Established in 1990, Polipol Holding GmbH is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of soft furniture. Polipol’s annual turnover exceeds €400 million.
