MINSK – Plans are in place to set up a multibrand center on the basis of Belarusian-Venezuelan joint ventures. Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Piotr Parkhomchik mentioned it as he met with Venezuela's Vice President – Minister of Planning Ricardo Menendez, BelTA has learned.
Piotr Parkhomchik said: “Taking into account the instructions given by our country's president today, we will have to do a lot of work to find contact points on all the matters that have been mentioned. The first very important task is related to manufacturing sector, to the restoration of operation of assembly enterprises. On the basis of these enterprises we will have to set up a multibrand aftersales service center for the vehicles and machines these joint ventures will make.”
The official remarked that specialists of the Belarusian companies MTZ and MAZ will work in this center. They will perform tasks relating to training, preparation, support, and service. The center will also have warehouses to store parts for manufacturing and repairing the machines and vehicles, Piotr Parkhomchik said.
