The sensor of turns of a contactless Hall effect (hall sensor) is designed for contactless determination of the number of revolutions of the rotating gears and electrical circuits switching. In such sensors used Hall effect. The Hall sensor integrated circuit is located between the gear and the permanent magnet. When the gear tooth passes at the sensor element, it changes the magnitude of the magnetic field penetrating the Hall element. This generates a voltage signal that is in the millivolt range and is independent of the relative speed between the sensor and the gear. The evaluation electronic circuit integrated into the integrated circuit generates a signal in the form of rectangular pulses. Advantages: • longer service life due to lack of mechanical contacts; • high switching frequency.
