Reogemin has antihypoxic and antioxidant effect, it has a positive effect on aerobic processes in the cell reducing production of free radicals and restoring the energy capacity of the cells. Reogemin activates the Krebs cycle fermentation and contributes to utilization of fatty acids and glucose by cells. It has a mild diuretic effect.
