Full Product Information:
Type: Phosphating primer VL-02 is a mixture of two components - the base and the acid diluent. Base coats is a suspension of pigments and fillers in a solution of polyvinylbutyral in the mixture of volatile organic solvents. Acid diluent is an alcoholic solution of phosphoric acid. Benefits: phosphatizing primer used for priming metal surfaces for coating enamels such as ML, ES, FS, XB, XC, SD, VD AK, for the protection of metal in-process storage, as well as instead of phosphatizing and oxidation. The primer provides corrosion protection when used in different climatic conditions. Surface preparation: Surface preparation for painting primer products is carried out in accordance with the requirements of technical regulations on product or GOST 9.402 STB ISO 12944-4. Application: phosphating primer VL-02 should be made just before use by mixing primer and acid bases diluent in a ratio (by weight) 4: 1, respectively. After manufacturing the primer is maintained for 30 min and diluted with a solvent RFG (GOST 12708) to a viscosity of 16 - 20 on-type viscometer VZ-246 with a nozzle diameter of 4 mm (BS-4), filtered and applied by airless or pneumatic. Brush primer is applied with an operating viscosity 20 - 35 seconds. The primer VL-02 may be diluted with a solvent 648 (GOST 18188), P-6, toluene (GOST 14710 and GOST 9880) and xylene (GOST 9949). Mixture of these solvents at a dilution of primer is allowed. The primer is applied at a temperature of minus 10 ° C to plus 30 ° C in a dried coating layer with a thickness of 8 - 10 microns. Term Exposure primer coating to the subsequent application of paints - no more than 14 days, the minimum exposure time - 30 minutes. Primer consumption during application: Brush - 80 - 95 g / m2; by pneumatic spraying - 100 - 120 g / m2; by airless spray - 95 - 110 g / m2. Storage: primer diluent and an acid basis is stored and transported at a temperature from -10 ° C to + 30 ° C. Non storage and transportation bases and acid primer diluent at minus 30 ° C, the storage and transportation should not exceed one month. Safety Precautions: Priming is a fire hazard and toxic material. All work related to the production and application of a primer should be carried out on the premises, equipped with forced ventilation according to GOST 12.4.021. Persons associated with the manufacture and application of primer, must be provided with personal protective equipment (overalls, safety glasses, rubber gloves, etc.). The dried coating has no toxic effects on the environment and the human body.
