GIS-RF - SPECIALISED GEO-INFORMATIONAL TECHNOLOGY

GIS-RF – specialised geo-informational technology for radio frequency planning and control – is used for the development and design of radio frequency spectrum APPLICATION AREA: planning radio system frequencies, design, analysis and simulation of electromagnetic interference at system level with the help of geo-informational technologies and digital (electronic) maps of regions under research; GIS-RF software tools can be used for complex development of distributed and local ground radio systems of various services (stationary and mobile networks, radars, navigation systems, radio broadcasting on the frequencies of 30-40 MHz) using EMI criteria. STRUCTURE: subsystem for calculating wave propagation and simulation of EM environment using recommendations of International Telecommunication Union Radiocommunication Sector (ITU-R P series); subsystem for calculating covering area, areas of interference/reduction, as well as areas of radio visibility for radio receivers and transmitters; subsystem for EMI analysis and design in scattered radio networks; subsystem for planning frequencies and frequency optimization in scattered radio networks; subsystem for visualization, recording and storage of results; database of electronic maps of the geographical region; database of parameters and allocation of radio devices; database of radio monitoring results.
